Faculty Council

According to art. 29 of the Verona University Statute. Planning and coordination of didactic activities, allocation of didactic resources, requests for new teaching and research posts and the putting up for tender or transfer allocation of teaching and research posts, the appointment of professors, proposals for activating integrated and official courses to be entrusted to highly qualified scientific scholars or experts or professionals on private law contracts, preparation and approval of Faculty development plans as part of the university's development, and the carrying out of all the other duties attributed to it by the university regulations. The Faculty Council organises the carrying out of its own duties by establishing commissions whose members are elected from inside the Council itself. |

The Dean's Council
1. The Dean's Council consists of the Dean, the Vice Dean and the Heads of those commissions which are a permanent feature of the Faculty Council.
2. The Dean's Council supports the dean when he is carrying out his work.
3. The Faculty Council may delegate to the Dean's council matters of everyday administration in order to improve the smooth running of the Faculty Council. Any matters related to the legal position of personnel, however, are not to be delegated.
4. The Rules of the Faculty lay down:
a) the procedures for calling the council and the procedural norms for the Dean's Council;
b) the procedures for assigning and carrying out delegations. |
